While Haxe/PHP behaviour tries to correspond as much as possible to that of Neko, there are some edge cases to be aware of where behaviour my differ slightly. Others may be encountered when trying to integrate with external PHP libraries. Here is a list of such edge cases currently known:
- Neko prints a
nullvalue as "null", whereas Haxe/PHP prints the empty string "".
- The PHP target internally renames any variable named 'global' to 'hglobal' ($hglobal). This is not generally a problem unless you are serializing.
